解説

The court costume nōshi has a round collar and broad, open sleeves, like the kariginu. Its front panels are wider than those on the kariginu. Like the happi, the nōshi has an extra band of cloth at the hem that joins the front panels with the back panels. Here, the small repeat "koaoi" pattern of central flowers in a diagonal leaf lattice is rendered in discrete white on white.
