	Group Description Indivisual Description 画中文字「よみさしの浄瑠璃本へかんさしのあしもしとろにおくり三重　魚の屋厚丸」　大星由良之助が主君塩冶判官の腹切り刀の血潮を嘗め、仇討ちの決意をして館を立退くという四段目の幕切れに見立た作品。美人が小間物商の携えてきた品物の山に肘をつき、気に入った笄を手にして眺める姿を、大星由良之助の姿に重ね合せている。提灯の中に描かれるのは、血気にはやり由良之助に制せられる大星力弥と諸士たち。画賛にある「おくり三重」とは四段目の由良之助の幕外の引っ込みに際して、三味線だけで伴奏される下座音楽のこと。

	Group Description この作品は、美人を「仮名手本忠臣蔵」の登場人物に見立てた揃物の一つ。コマ絵には四段目の大星由良之助と、五段目の斧定九郎を描くが、美人が傘を手にしているので、この美人を定九郎に見立ていることがわかる。定九郎の着る黒羽二重と破れた蛇の目傘は、五段目を象徴するものとして、他の見立絵にも効果的に用いられている。 Indivisual Description
