| Group Description:団扇絵は、判版からもわかるとおり、大判錦絵のような一般的な浮世絵とは異なり、団扇に貼り付けて使用された実用品である。そのため、伝存点数が比較的少なく、貴重である。この作品が取材した「隅田川対高賀紋」は加賀藩の御家騒動を取り込んだ鏡山物の書替狂言だが、有名な草履打の趣向はそのまま踏襲したようである。草履打とは、お家横領を企てる局岩藤が計画の邪魔になる中老尾上を陥れようと尾上が預かる重宝を盗みだし、宝を紛失したと尾上を草履で打擲する趣向で、敵役の憎々しさとそれに堪える辛抱役との緊張した場面をつくり、古来から好んで芝居に仕組まれたもの。 |
