| Group Description:寛政１１年５月市村座「本朝廿四孝」を描いたシリーズの１枚で、「十種香」の場面の、簑作実は武田勝頼、彼の許嫁八重垣姫を描いたもの。八重垣姫が十種香を焚き、死んだ偽勝頼の供養をしているところへ、勝頼が簑作と偽称して現れる。八重垣姫は勝頼にうり二つの簑作を見て勝頼ではないかと詰寄るが、本名を明かせない勝頼は、人違いだと言って姫を受け入れない。本図のシリーズには他に、初代市川男女蔵の長尾三郎かけかつ、三代目市川八百蔵の横蔵が知られる。 |
