| Group Description:三代目芳沢崎之助は二代目芳沢あやめの弟子で、後に四代目芳沢あやめとなる役者。明和元年11月の顔見世にそれまでの五郎市から崎之助へ改名し、同時に師あやめの俳名である春水の名も譲り受けた。この時の芝居では花売り早咲おすけとなり、親の敵と、一夜の枕を交わした夫を探すが、やがて初代尾上菊五郎演ずる花かご与市兵衛実は尾形三郎が、親の敵であり、夫でもあったと知ることになる。本図も、初代菊五郎の花かご与市兵衛を右に描く二枚組であった可能性が考えられる。 |
