| Description: The story of the 108 Heroes of Suikoden (Shuihu Zhuan) is of Chinese origin and was written in the 14th century. The novel became very popular in Japan in the early 19th century. The stories relate the exploits of a group of outlaws who, on the fringes of society, fight in the name of justice. Yoshitoshi published his own series of 50 chuban prints between 1866 and 1867 / La historia de los 108 Héroes del Suikoden (Shuihu Zhuan) es de origen chino y fue escrita en el siglo XIV. La novela se hizo muy popular en Japón a principios del siglo XIX. Las historias relatan las hazañas de un grupo de forajidos que al margen de la sociedad, luchan en nombre de la justicia. Yoshitoshi publicó su propia serie, compuesta por 50 grabados chuban, entre 1866 y 1867. |
