組解説:This work belongs to a series of many that in the Edo period made an interpretation of the work Nise Murasaki Inaka Genji (updated reinterpretation of Murasaki's work), written by Ryûtei Tanehiko (1783-1843), and published between 1828 and 1842 by the publisher Tsuruya Kiemon. Utagawa Kunisada, an artist very close to Ryûtei contributed with his images to the popularity of the work.
