This representation of Japan appears in all four editions of Bordone, in the third (Terzo) part, on page LXVIII. The map appearing in the first edition lacks the page signature N ii, which appears in the second and third editions and N ij in the fourth edition. As the text was reset for each edition, the individual editions can be determined by the letters appearing wholly under the page headline: Terzo.
